Wim Hof Method for Performance and Recovery 

Put yourself in the expert hands of certified WHM Instructor, Samuel Whiting, to learn the three pillars of the Wim Hof Method - Breathing, Cold Exposure & Commitment. Discover how you can utilize breathing techniques and cold exposure to optimize your nervous system, prime your physiology for competition, improve recovery time and promote peak performance. This workshop allows for ample personal attention and feedback tailored to your specific sports and performance goals. Whether you are looking to improve mental or physical performance, relieve symptoms from injury or illness, or are just curious to find out what the Wim Hof Method is all about— this workshop is for you.

The program kicks off with an introduction to the Wim Hof Method and leads into breathing sessions, breathing mechanics exercises, some light science & theory, fun group work and an (optional) ice bath. Throughout the program there is time for reflection, discussion, and ample room for questions to be answered, and answers to be questioned.

During this session you will practice and learn:
-How breathing exercises can improve your energy levels, speed up recovery, detoxify your system and relieve anxiety, stress and tension 

-Breathing protocols that train aerobic capacity and improve CO2 Tolerance 
-Proper breathing mechanics to increase mobility, power and balance your state
-How cold-water immersion in the form of an ice bath can boost metabolism, optimize your nervous system, strengthen your immune system and build mental fortitude

 I empower people to be the strongest, happiest and healthiest versions of themselves through simple, accessible practices and my commitment to continuous learning and growth. I went from being a burnt out elite athlete, struggling with anxiety, to an inspired wellness lifestyle pioneer with laser focus, inner confidence and a fortified mind and body. I’ve continuously put myself through tests and challenges, I take ice baths, swim in frozen rivers, practice deep breathing, endurance hike barefoot, winter hike in just shorts, explore the latest scientific theory on physiology and nutrition, and have trained with some of the most revered yoga teachers, coaches and athletes in the world. The Wim Hof Method is the golden thread through all of these experiences and is a launching pad in the pursuit of extraordinary living.
